Product
A phone number for a small business that answers every call.
In development. Proof of concept complete, early access opening to anchor customers.
A small business loses work to the phone. Calls arrive while the owner is on a job, in a van, or with a customer. Voicemail does not get returned, and the caller books somewhere else.
Hiring someone to answer is the obvious fix and the wrong price. A shared call centre answers with no knowledge of the business.
It takes the calls that would have gone to voicemail. It learns the business from its own website and documents, so it answers what the hours are, what a job costs, and whether a slot is free, in the terms the business already uses.
When a call needs a person, it hands over and says why. The owner gets a record of what it did.
Hours, prices, what is stocked, whether you cover an area, what to bring. The questions answered twenty times a week.
Finding a slot, taking the details, confirming it, and moving it when the caller rings back to change it.
Checking what was bought, what the policy allows, and starting the return without the caller repeating themselves.
Working out what is owed, telling the caller plainly, and escalating to a person when the amount or the reason needs a decision.
The proof of concept is complete. Early access is opening to anchor customers, one retail store and one field service business, chosen because they take very different calls.
Steadyline has its own site, which carries the product detail and the early access list.
